Summer Camp
Exclusively for school aged children!
Our summer program includes a weekly Camp offered for ten weeks. It is a fun, active and educational experience tailored to the needs and interests of children entering grades one through six (ages 5-12). Parents have the option to pick and choose what weekly themes suit their child best, or may take advantage of our terrific program all summer long! Tons to learn and do!
Each week will be packed full of activity and adventure: Weekly Field Trips with hands-on learning Library visits Partnering with Saline Library for outside enrichment as well as library skills/literacy Chinese as a second language (included with tuition!) learn to speak Chinese with hands-on cultural experiences/cooking/crafts (also offered a la carte for $12/class) Plenty of play, sports and exercise on our huge athletic field

Cool Weekly Summer Themes Creepy Crawly Critters June 21-June 25 Nature to it’s fullest! Dig for bugs, watch meal worms metamorphosis into beetles or caterpillars into butterflies, build habitats and compete in the bug Olympics! Down on the Farm June 28-July 2 Explore the differences between the contemporary farming of today and historical farming of yesteryear. Students will visit each type of farm with field trips to Rentschler and Korte Farms! A Taste Of Summer July 12– July 16 Experience summer through food! Visit a Farmer’s Market to gather produce to create your very own culinary creations, create a café, prepare and serve. Families invited to dine-in to our café at week’s end. Art-rageous! July 19-July 23 Imagination gone wild! Create your own masterpiece, puppets, paper-mache masks and tie dye T-shirts. Field trip to downtown Saline’s own award winning 212 Arts Center. Going Green Eco-Explorers July 26-July 30 Discover how to preserve our natural environment. Create art with recycled material, construct your own bio-dome, make paper out of scraps. Field trip to a recycling plant! Wild and Wacky Water August 2-6 Conduct experiments that explore the power, sound and work water can do. Observe the wonder of water at Curtis Park, make bubbles of all shapes and sizes, and splash your way to Independence Park. Wild Animal Adventures August 9-13 Begin an exploration of the wild animals local to Washtenaw County, expand knowledge of domestic animals with a visit to an animal shelter, visit a veterinarian hospital to see how animals are examined, discover the amazing way animals adapt to their envi-ronment. Treasure Hunters August 16-20 Ahoy mate! Come aboard this pirate week for a swashbuckling good time. Make costumes, learn pirate lingo, create and follow treasure maps that lead to an action packed visit to Mill Pond Park. To Infinity and Beyond August 23-27 Space, the final frontier...field trip to the planetarium at the Ann Arbor Museum of Natural History, learn about the stars and constellations, combine art with space to create planets and rocks, science experiments with rockets, and at week’s end...a Blast Off finale! Ocean Commotion August 30-Sept 2 Become an oceanographer, discover coral reefs, sea creatures & plant life, conduct experiments, make art, and visit the Toledo Zoo Aquarium to see creatures in their own habitat. Dynamic Staff Our Directors and teaching staff are child development professionals specializing in school aged programs. Let our certified staff keep your child engaged, active and having fun all summer, with just enough educational undertones to keep them sharp and ready for the next school year! Nutrition 100% nutritional morning snack every day—fruit or vegetable to encourage healthy eating habits. Tuition Children’s Creative Learning Center Summer Camp Tuition is based on a per week basis, however, partial weeks are also available.
