CHILDREN’S CREATIVE LEARNING CENTER NEWSLETTER – July 2010
JULY 4TH We will be closed July 5-9 and will re-open on July 12, 2010. We hope everyone has a Happy Independence Day! We wish you warm weather, good times, and safe travels.
SUMMER FUN! As the weather continues to get warmer, water and outdoor exploration increases. Please remember to bring in your child’s bathing suit, towel, and swim shoes. Sun screen should be applied every morning before your child arrives to school. Please be aware that flip flops and open toed shoes are not allowed outside for your child’s safety!!
CHILD SCHEDULE We are having an outstanding summer season that has allowed us to do more outdoor play, experimentation, and hands on activities. We plan our staff schedule according to times provided by parents, which would best fit the needs of the children in the center. It is crucial that we be notified if your child is going to be late or absent. As always, we appreciate your support and cooperation.
VEHICLE For the safety of the children and the protection of our environment, please remember to always turn off your vehicle while dropping off or picking up your child. Thank you!
FAMILY IN NEED We are a strong family community here at CCLC. We pride ourselves on helping one another in any way we can. CCLC has been notified, by a staff member, about a Saline family in need of our help. If you would like to donate clothes, books or toys for the children, the family would be truly grateful. The boys sizes are: 10, 6, 4T, and 2T. The girl size is 7slim. Just drop your donation off at the center and we will take care of the rest. Thank you!
PARENTS NIGHT OUT Our July Parents Night Out will be held on the 17th from 5:30-10 pm. Our activities will include the celebration of Independence Day including a special treat after dinner. Our movie this month will be An American Tail.
